How does it work? Basic paintTROTTER guidelines

1.

A plug & play product. The operator positions the paintTROTTER next to the vehicle anywhere in the work area. The worker then simply needs to connect the equipment to the appropriate power socket in the workshop.

2.

The next step is to fit the protective film and apply the adhesive tape, shaping the film to the area to be repaired so the technician can work on the section to be painted. Thanks to this simple step, the paintTROTTER is completely enclosed and ready to begin the repair process.

3.

paintTROTTER becomes an enclosed booth system, allowing work in a space free of dust and dirt thanks to its efficient air recycling system. At the same time, excess overspray and dust do not spread to other areas of the workshop, as they are contained within the enclosed paintTROTTER area.

4.

Optionally, paintTROTTER can also incorporate short-wave infrared equipment to reduce drying times. This system cuts overall process times by a third compared with the time required by a traditional booth.

Models

paintTROTTER Standard

Air recirculation. No extraction duct

The standard version (STD) of the paintTROTTER Refinish is the most widely used for normal workloads in countries whose legislation allows partial recirculation of filtered air from the paint booth.

The 5+1 stage filtration system means only a residual amount of VOCs is expelled outside the booth, keeping the working environment in optimal, healthy conditions.

The STD version offers greater mobility, as it only requires a power socket to operate and can easily be moved wherever needed.

Advantages

  • Greater mobility due to the absence of an extraction duct.
  • The 5+1 stage filtration system can retain up to 92% of VOCs with correct filter maintenance.
  • Lower energy consumption (only 1 motor).

paintTROTTER EVO

With extraction duct

The EVO version of the paintTROTTER is especially useful in environments with high workloads or in countries whose legislation does not allow any type of air recirculation in paint and surface treatment booths.

With two perfectly calibrated drive and extraction motors, the paintTROTTER expels air outside the workshop (outside the facility) via a flexible duct, with VOCs having already been filtered so the air expelled outside is clean.

Thanks to this system, maintenance costs are significantly lower due to the reduced number of filtration stages.

Advantages

  • The EVO version ensures the working environment is COMPLETELY free of potentially hazardous VOCs.
  • Considerably low maintenance cost (reduced investment in filters).
  • Recommended for high-activity environments or where required by regulations.
